Dark Silver Grey  Huacaya

5 time Color Champion - most amazing fleece we have seen! unbelievable in gray! This guy must be seen and felt to "get" him - density and fleece character nicer than most accoyos we have handled. Should get a large crop settled next year, and in 2009 we will better see how he reproduces himself. breed your black or gray girls to him now while his fee is at the introductory rate!!

The Godfather's Accoyo Marlon Brando

Stud Fee: 3000
White  Huacaya
Full Accoyo, Marlon Brando caught our attention because of his East Coast bloodlines - out of The Godfather and son of an Accoyo Royal Fawn dam. But when we got our hands on him - at 16 months - his fleece was like butter, and his bone and frame were off the charts (full grown at 16 mo.) MC 17.5 at one year, some increase with breeding age but still has lovely high frequency crimp. An early maturing male (just like his mother), his first two years of offspring have been phenomenal - ultra-dense, square, typy frames with short head, tiny tight curls and the first year group did very well in the showring in 2007 - we look forward to another season in 2008!! He is co-Owned with Good Fortune Farms, Treehouse Alpacas, and Compass Rose Alpacas.

FCA Accoyo Phantom

Stud Fee: 2500
white  Huacaya

Beautiful full accoyo El Nino son -- head smothered in fiber, large boxy square frame, gorgeous expression of El Nino's fiber (Vengador dam). 12 pounds second year clip, 20.6 MC, now 4 years old with several gorgeous cria on the ground and more arriving next summer! Love what we are getting - the extreme head is clearly coming down to his offspring, ultra-density and coverage, beautiful crimp.

Sir Accoyo Custer

Stud Fee: 2500
White  Huacaya

Truly a fineness King! First year grid histogram returned with an aveage micron of 15.5, simply pearl-like tiny microbundles in his fleece with exquisite character. We are excited about adding him to our breeding program in Spring of '06. Co-owned by Alpacas in the Mist, Double Dutch Farms and Melhay Alpacas, his first 9 cria have arrived and are BEDAZZLING!! Shine, tiny tight crimp, superior fineness without medullation, bundles - WOW- are we pleased!! Did I say SHINE?!? Letting color come straight though, this boy will work into our program VERY well!!

Alexander the Great

Stud Fee: $5000
White  Huacaya

Alexander the Great is a full Accoyo with both Vengador and Pacachutti lines. He has a fleece that must be seen and felt to be fully appreciated. Very merino like in it's tiny, spidery bundles, he is an 18.6 mc without guard hair. Many 1st place ribbons and Reserve Grand Champion, he has settle 25 females and we are looking to add him heavily into our breeding program. All of his offspring carry his stamp of merino-type fleece structure, ultra-smothered head and coverage, fineness, shine and crimp. WAY Exceeds Expectations! Co-Owned with The Alpaca Group, Scott and Jackie McNair.

McGwire

Stud Fee: $4000
Light Rose Grey  Huacaya

McGwire is a full Accoyo from Victor and Rosemary. Rosemary is one of Pacific Crest's best producers, with several Grand Champions to her credit out of different males. Victor has produced so many Champion offspring it seems he would need no introduction. His fleece has an excessively deep, bold (but high frequency on this Victor son) crimp with unbelievable staple length and shear-weights. McGwire sheared 14.5 pounds in 2002, 13.5 lbs 2003, 14.0 lbs 2004 . He is a rich shade of fawn that darkens up at his top line, and his lower legs are almost cinnamon. At the National Show in 2002 (at this show, McGwire took the blue and purple ribbons), judge Maggie Krieger moved his fleece from the fawn class into the Light Rose Grey Category after taking the fleece outside to be sure about the color ? he truly has a taupe-silver-pink running throughout his fleece over and over and over again! With a small white tuxedo on his face, plus the silver color coursing through his fleece, we wondered if McGwire could throw a silver since so much of the Accoyo heritage is white. He has thrown seven tuxedo offspring now, five of which came from solid females with no background for tuxedo patterns whatsoever! McGwire is the head of our white program because of the fabulous job he does - his crias one year histograms are coming in around 16 mc's, and he consistently pounds in the density and strong crimp. His babies so far are from dams we know well, and he is honestly setting new standards for dense little pin curls in buttery silk. Co-owned with Alpacas of Misty Ridge.

RAINMAN

Stud Fee: $2500
Light Fawn  Huacaya

Coveted hemiAccoyo genetics: Dam is Bobbie Ann-the FINEST hemingway dam we have ever seen or watched produce offspring-still a 19 MC at age 11 with a 14 CV and an AD of 3.0 -- she passes this amazing "stuff" on to her offspring. Rainman's Dad is Accoyo El Nino, adding the compact typy look and incredible density with amazing fleece character. His fiber follows his dam - but with incredible staple length as well. 20 cria on the way this summer of 2008.

Velvet's Prince William

Stud Fee: $2500
Bay Black  Huacaya

Velvet's Prince William is a bay-black male out of our rose gray female, Greta, who at age nine still had a micron of 17. Every year her histogram has come in between 16 and 20, whether her weight was up or down. She has repeatedly passed this quality on to her offspring, all of whom have sold quickly for strong prices until William, who we decided to keep for ourselves. His father is a full Accoyo Camilio son, and Prince William's fleece exhibits the intensely deep and tiny crimp of Camilio. At age 2½, his almost-black micron was 18.6, CV 19.2. It is incredible to put your hand through his bag of fleece (he sheared 7 pounds over a 10 month period), his fleece is shiny, slippery and oh-so-soft. He has several 1st place/Reserve Grand Champions ribbons to his credit. One judge stated in the Champion class that even though he was three years old and standing next you juveniles, he was by far the softest male in the class. His first crop of cria (he consistently lets silver and rose grey come through) did outstanding at Futurity this year, those judges at the National Level Shows appreciate and reward for fineness with zipper-crimp-character!! he throws full heads and correct frames. Co-Owned with Camp David Alpacas, Wishberry Farms, and Abuela Acres Alpacas.
